ISO 18001 OSHAS Occupational Health & Safety Auditor/Lead Auditor



Introduction:


The primary objective of this course is to instruct occupational health and safety auditors in the principles and practices specific to auditing for conformance with the national and international accepted norms and regulations relating to Occupational Health and Safety requirements. You’ll demonstrate your commitment to maintaining optimum health and safety standards and your organization will stand out in the marketplace. This course will equip you with the skills to ensure you are OHSAS 18001 compliant.  Excel in occupational health and safety management systems with OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor course. The aim of this training course is to provide practicing auditors with an understanding of the underlying philosophy, principles and requirements of the OHSAS 18001 standard. The course enables participants to acquire the principles and techniques in conducting safety management system audits.  

 

The course enables participants to develop the necessary expertise to audit an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) and to manage a team of auditors by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures and techniques. During this training, the participant will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to proficiently plan and perform internal and external audits in compliance with ISO 19011, the certification process according to ISO 17021. Based on practical exercises, the participant will develop the skills (mastering audit techniques) and competencies (managing audit teams and audit programs, communicating with customers, conflict resolution, etc.) necessary to efficiently conduct an audit. You will be more able to:

COURSE CERTIFICATE

Certificate of Completion will be provided to the candidate(s) who successfully attend and complete the course. Training hours attendance percentage of 75% is required.


TRAINING HOURS

Standard course hours: 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Informal discussions: 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.

REGISTRATION POLICY

Nominations to our public courses are to be processed by the client’s Training and/or HR departments. A refund will be issued back to the client in the event of course cancellation or seat unavailability. A confirmation will be issued to the relevant department official(s). 


CANCELLATION POLICY

If a confirmed registration is cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the course start date, a substitute participant may be nominated to attend the same course or a 20% cancellation charge is applied. In case of a no-show, a 100% fee will be charged.


PAYMENT POLICY

Payment is due upon receiving the course confirmation, invoice and/or proforma invoice. However; the fee due can be wire transferred to our bank account directly after course completion. Our bank details are illustrated on the confirmation, invoice and proforma invoice, as well. The above documents can be communicated electronically, i.e., in a soft copy or/and in hard copy based on customer’s request.
