Advanced Firefighting for Senior Fire Personnel (NFPA 1021)

Introduction:

This comprehensive course is designed to meet the elements of NFPA 1021. It aims to provide the delegates with a deep understanding of fire station’s administration and operations. It also enhances leadership quality to coordinate activities with the fire team. The candidates will be more able to command fire crew to mitigate emergency throughout their workplace. Fire officers and senior staff will gain much insight so as to enable them of their responsibilities towards providing and promoting fire preventions, emergency readiness, safeguard personnel and installation, security measures & leadership so as to be able to command fire control room throughout their workplace.

This firefighting training course is aimed at training learners in both theoretical and practical firefighting skills and techniques, in order to minimize loss of life and property, by extinguishing fires in their early stages. Also, it prepares and enhances the first line supervisor's ability to supervise subordinates. It introduces key management concepts and practices utilized and include discussions about decision making, time management, leadership styles, personnel evaluations, and counseling guidelines. This advanced course encompasses all skills and knowledge gained in basic firefighting and in addition teaches practical knowledge and the use of hand operated firefighting equipment.

COURSE CERTIFICATE

Certificate of Completion will be provided to the candidate(s) who successfully attend and complete the course. Training hours attendance percentage of 75% is required.


TRAINING HOURS

Standard course hours: 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Informal discussions: 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M.

Pre-Test and Post-Test Assessment are applied on 5-day and 10-day programs. Also, post course evaluation and candidate’s evaluation are applied to add another level of quality measurement. Candidates’ feedback is highly appreciated to elevate the training service quality.

REGISTRATION POLICY

Nominations to our public courses are to be processed by the client’s Training and/or HR departments. A refund will be issued back to the client in the event of course cancellation or seat unavailability. A confirmation will be issued to the relevant department official(s). 


CANCELLATION POLICY

If a confirmed registration is cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the course start date, a substitute participant may be nominated to attend the same course or a 20% cancellation charge is applied. In case of a no-show, a 100% fee will be charged.


PAYMENT POLICY

Payment is due upon receiving the course confirmation, invoice and/or proforma invoice. However; the fee due can be wire transferred to our bank account directly after course completion. Our bank details are illustrated on the confirmation, invoice and proforma invoice, as well. The above documents can be communicated electronically, i.e., in a soft copy or/and in hard copy based on customer’s request.
